Do you think January isn’t the time to sell? Well, here’s Ashley ready to pop your bubble on that one, before everyone rushes to hit the market at the time in spring, beat them to the punch!

So much time is spent on the homes currently on the market, so it’s always nice to see what’s selling to give buyers and sellers an idea of when to jump into the game (NOW!). Here’s a quick snapshot of just what I’ve got cooking just in the beginning of the year:

At the start of every year, I, like most people, take the time to reflect back on my successes over the previous year and I am truly lucky to have been showered with many successes. Nearly $54 million in sales, 103 individual transactions, and countless new friends! J While I look back on 2016, I can’t help but think about how it all started…

Going back more years than I care to divulge right now…I started in real estate by doing the hard foot work (and I do mean foot – I still feel those blisters!) that most agents have had to do to get to a level of success where this crazy business becomes more than just making ends meet. In a turn of events that could only be labeled as fate, I started sitting open houses in Circle C Ranch. Eventually, that turned

Have you ever walked into a house that says, “UPDATED!”, “UPGRADED!”, “NEW!”, “RECENTLY REDONE!”, etc. on the listing description or marketing material? Have you ever walked out of that house feeling a little more than let down by the, completely accurate, but slightly overblown rhetoric? I have – and for any other agents reading this, we’ve all felt that and are *sometimes* guilty of such bombast.

I bring your attention to 1512 Barton Creek Blvd, a pocket listing of mine that you’ve heard me mention before…only a few times. (Click here or here to find out more about this property!) One point that has to be made is that this property has gone under a total facelift – and so much more! Just like Renee Zellweger (!), this property… Just. Doesn’t. Look.

I got my start in real estate in Southwest Austin, which includes the renowned, master-planned Circle C Ranch, the neighborhoods of Legend Oaks and Villages of Western Oaks, and so many others! I always feel as though I have a second – and third, fourth, fifth, sixth…hundredth! – home when I’m selling in Southwest Austin. The one neighborhood, though, that I have actually found a home I love is Meridian.

Beautifully appointed homes, spacious yards, greenbelts and trails (some coming right up to your back door!), community amentities, and a school just steps from your door, Meridian offers so much more than modern homes. There’s such a great sense of community here that I have always felt and am proud to share with my clients and friends as they look to

I was taking a drive right before New Year's through Barton Creek on my way back from an appointment, and I caught a glimpse of one of my favorite properties - 1512 Barton Creek Blvd. This home is an exclusive private listing of mine, which are almost always my favorites. The reason being, of course, is because they're usually the best kept secrets around!! The same can be said about this property, but I'm of the opinion that some (most!) best kept secrets need to be shared!

Now I know what you're going to say, "Ashley, the whole idea behind secrets is that it's not shared!" and if you were in the business of knowing very little about business, you would be right. In this case, everyone should know about this property!! You may have seen it featured
